You don't need to read more about this, especially from a dummy like me. It's too bad that Palin's expectations were so low that people are SO impressed by her not embarrasing herself last night - it's like patting a kid on the head for remembering to wipe front to back. What about Biden? He did a kickass job.
Living inside the the Bay Area bubble makes it hard for me to believe that most places out there eat up the Palin-Joe 6 pack-hockey mom bullshit. But they do, which is why she's still so popular even after those Couric interviews. Is it elitist to think the rest of the country has the IQ of a goldfish? Absolutely. But it's justified because we're right and they're totally wrong! And really, I don't want anyone running the country who isn't smarter than me, cough cough, Palin. Shouldn't our leaders be smarter than the average "Joe?"
