Girl Beck was the lead guitarist. She was rockin. Baby Beck was the bassist. His bass was the size of his entire body. Convict Beck was the drummer. He was also rockin. Beefy Beck was the electronics nerd dude. He looked like my friend's brother.
All in all a great show. My friend and I agree that Beck still rocked it even though he isn't what he used to be. Beck reinvents himself album to album and that includes his image - I think he's going for a bohemian-Americana-ish look these days, which is cool but also boring. He did no dancing on stage like I've seen him in the past. One thing that hasn't changes is that he's a big fat weirdo-nerd-face. He used "Scratch," an iPhone application for being your own DJ on the go for one of the songs - it was hilarious, especially when he apologized to all the real DJs out there.
Last time I saw Beck was at Coachella. We were dying in the 106 degree heat and he was playing songs from Sea Change and fiddling with his Gameboy that he used to make sounds from. GAAAAH!
