I'm Back and Not Dead, Just Half Alive

Got back sunday afternoon and went to work on Monday. There was a trial happening the next day that I had to help prepare for. Not a good day to come back.

The trip was good in the typical fashion. Beautiful old-ass cities where I often imagined people throwing out their poop buckets from the windows back in the day. Or do they still do that? Cities where I thought about Lord of the Rings a bit too often.

The trip was bad in the typical Korean bus tours suck shit sticks fashion. Everything was in Korean so I didn't understand 85% of the tour. The people were so old we had to make bathroom stops every hour. Most of the old hags on the tour were only interested in shopping - and what did they buy? A bunch of useless shit. They were rude to the natives and rude to us. Titles for your elders are a big part of Korean culture. That's why I call my sister "uhnnee" instead of "Nancy." You'd call an older man "ah-joh-shi." Some such ah-jo-shi on the trip borrowed the tour guide's microphone to give a racist speech about Jews as we drove into Germany. I couldn't understand anything except for "Jewish people blah blah blah." I knew that was not a good thing. I asked my aunt after he was done what the fuck was that all about. She said he was being a racist dick and was surprised that the tour guide fucker let him do it. And when he was finished? The bus clapped. Yes. My aunt commented on how she thinks old Koreans are one of the most bigoted peoples. I can't say she's too far off. How fucking embarrasing. What's funny is that our joint hatred for the tour group brought my mom and aunt closer together. But not my uncle because he's a republican and called me delusional while we were debating politics.

Our Bulgarian bus driver was the friendliest stranger I talked to on the whole trip. I asked him if he was bored and he politely said no. He thought I was 18. He doesn't like scotch.

It's great to be home and I can't wait to go back - next time sans cunty Korean bus tour. I'll put a picture or two up at some point for those who need to see pictures when they read. Phoo! Was that pretentious or what?!
