Restaurant robberies are now happening on a daily basis. It's only a matter of time before someone I know becomes a victim. Oh, hey look, my sister's friend just got robbed at a Kragen Autobody shop in El Cerrito at about 7pm.
Many blame the economy. I could see that - people are desperate for money, tension and stress are running high and people are getting robbed. On the contrary, Little J pointed out that it has nothing to do most likely already poor and desperate so the state of the economy is irrelevant. Bwith the economy and that it'll all stop as soon as some gun-carrying victim shoots a robber. I could also see that - the people doing the robbin' are ut is there going to be such a standoff where the vicitm turns hero for shooting a robber? That would make for some interesting headlines.
All I know is that I'm gonna stop carrying hundred dollar bills in my wallet, stop wearing my fur coats all at once and leave the diamand studded tiaras at home.
