Todd Packer sat in Jack's lap at A.S.S.S.C.A.T.

True story. He wanted to emphasize a point about how uncomfortably aggressive the show would be because of having to speak louder for the people sitting in the back of the theater. He asked Jack if he felt uncomfortable while his bum-bum warmed Jack's lap. The rest of the improv group looked at poor Jack with smiles of sympathy, feeling bad for him because Jack's face said it all, "Oh god, please stop paying attention to me."

That was Friday night. Saturday night I ate mediocre French food and watched Youth in Revolt. It was clever, funny and silly. Apparently the dialogue in the novel has a more sophisticated vocabulary, using more SAT words that I'll ever care to know. Maybe that's why I'll never read the book. Just kidding, I'd like to read it someday.

Speaking of kidding around, I told a joke on stage Sunday night. Well, first I choked because I forgot the joke. Then when I remembered, I told it with a little too much enthusiasm, and didn't mention that I had originally heard the joke from an old misogynistic cab driver, consequently making me look like a young misogynistic lady with stage fright. Smooth move, me!

Speaking of smooth moves of a sarcastic manner, I met the class I'm TA-ing for today and spilled hot tea all over my crotch as the Professor introduced us. This semester is going to oh so much fun... not.
