I just hate when characters change personality. It's okay if a character does something unexpected but to become a different personality for a movie is so messed up. Two things. Thing the first: Picard is not a fan of children and he's very awkward around them (Wesley doesn't count because he's Crusher's kid and we all know Crusher and Picard made happy). Why then, is Picard obsessed with having a family with a litter children in his Nexus drug-dream (the Nexus is like Brain Candy)? Barf. Thing the second: Oh my god, never have I hated Data more than in this shit-box of a movie! Giordi puts the emotion chip in Data so for the rest of the movie Data's managing his crazy feelings and it's so annoying - he's like Jar Jar Binks in Star Wars. They can't have a built-up relationship of a Borg trying to understand emotion and then for one movie have it all happen at once so by it's conclusion Data accepts his feelings and properly adjusts as he's crying and hugging his cat. (Phew! Ranty run-on) Brent Spiner, you're only good at playing a robot and you suck at acting.
